In this semester I had a sever subject,
but my favorite subject was Hunter-Gatherer. In a typical class the teacher Mr.
Artigas explains and presents the manner of life of Hunter-Gatherer. The contents
of classes to change respect to the manner of life of these groups and
communities, for example; we have seen and discussed about the way of
mobilization that they had (sedentariness or nomadism), the type of diet, the
structure and organization of the group and the different types of weapon ( hook, spear, arrow, etc)
Sometimes we have to give a trial and
small test to measure our progress and knowledge, but the most important
evaluation is an exposition of a poster on some topic that interested you and
the idea is that we reflect on what has been presented.
I like this subject because it is very
important for what I plan to study (archeology) and the teacher is very good at
teaching and is also an archaeologist, therefore he always teaches us one or
another data about archeology. Something I specially enjoy about this class is
when we watch documentaries and we compare the different groups.
Those are the reasons why I like it so
much this subject.
