POST 6: WILD ANIMALS AND PETS

I got my first pet at 8 years old, it was a dog and I loved playing with the, Since then I have had many pets when I was a child for example; dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, etc. My family and I consider ourselves animal lovers, now I have a cat and a pet turtle, I personally believe that the best pets are cats, because they are very affectionate without being too.

I absolutely disagree with animal mistreatment. I think animals can only be used for medical research as long as they are not hurt in any way, and I do not think I can stand being around someone who wears animal skin to pretend money or fame

Although I have had many pets in my life, fortunately none of them have bitten me or hurt me in gravity and I do not think that muzzled animals is the best way to teach them

If I were an animal I would love to be a wolf or fox, because they are herd animals that live in very beautiful places, such as mountains or forests.

POST 5: THE STORY BEHIND A PICTURE

                                                                     

In 1936, Dorothea Lange took a photograph of a poor woman, who ended up being a symbol of the Great Depression that was suffered at the time .Lange Born in Hoboken, New Jersey, May 26, 1895, she is humanistic photographs of the terrible consequences of the Great Depression made her one of the leading journalists in world photojournalism.

The mother in the picture was named Florence Owen Thompson, she was 32 years old, and she was seen there with a baby and two older children. The identity of the woman was not known until the end of the 70s and when interviewed she said she was angry with Lange for making money with her image.

I love this photograph because shows a lot of emotion behind it,  and it  shows more to be in black and white, I agree with Mr. Thompson this angry, after all nobody asked permission to be photographed. However this does not take away the charm.

POST 3: MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY.

When my mom gave me my firts smartphone I was very excited and happy, I got my first smartphone around 13-14 years with a  Christmas gift, has now turned into my favourite piece of technology to have fun, usually use my phone to look for information, to learn new things on Youtube, to send e-mails and more. I use it everyday for all, mostly in my free time because it s easy to use and is very portable for me and love watching videos on youtube and reading light novels on the way home, it's very relaxing

It would be very strange without being with this technological object, because it has become something important to me that I see every day, especially that nowadays it is already a necessity to have one and everyone communicates by phone

those are the reasons why I love my cell phone.

POST 2: WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS CAREER / STUDY PROGRAMME?

The first real dream job I had was to be a Paleontology, beacuse when was I child i really liked dinosaurios and in the future I saw myself working on that but finally I decided to study Anthropology because I wanted to more I wanted more than to find bones , I wanted to see culture, traditions, find answers to social problems and I realized that anthropology gave me that and more. 

Before enter at Universidad de Chile I did not know if I wanted to be a physical anthropologist or archaeologist, after a long search finally I decided to study Archaeologist because is what I liked the most.

When I enter at University it was very strange and new for me, because I had different schedules than the school and everything was so free, I still can not get used.

in the future, I only wants to practice my profession for all types studies and enjoy my work to the fullest

Post 4: READING

When I was a little girl I hated books with burning passion, I didn´t like to read the books of school and when there was a test I read a summary of the book. As time goes I started to read a lot, because my mother, she took the necessary time to explain to me what the books are an important source of imagination. Authors and writers create stories and new world totally different to ours and with my mother we immerse ourselves in literature and since then I have not stopped reading until the present.Now I enjoy it so much, I read about something everyday for example; news, short stories, books for the university,with this I can say that I became a bookworm

When I was growing up I use to read a mystery and adventure books. however my mom wanted me to read think like Pinocho or fairy tail and I liked the opposite. Now enjoy reading short stories and novels but not romance. 

I really like Fernando Trujillo especially his saga ´´La biblia de los caídos´´,he wrote my favorite books,  but I think I should start to expand my limits and start reading some different, such as non-fiction novels.




Now I'm reading Hamlet by William Shakespeare, this story is about a prince who seeks revenge for the murder of his father, I really like this stories and I have not finished the book, I reccomed it everybody, beacuse is a excellet book and is very interesting.
